"Leda and the Swan"
2025
Oil on 33x24.5cm Canvas
Being seduced by a swan is unusual, even by mythological standards.
Then again, the Olympians were famous for their shapeshifting abilities, especially Zeus.
What follows, however, is even more surprising…
Leda lays two eggs.
One divine, born of her union with Zeus;
The other mortal, conceived with Tyndareus.
From these eggs sprang Helen of Troy with Pollux,
And Castor with Clytemnestra.
And the Trojan War will soon begin….
